OUR LOVE STORY

Pierce and Kristen were brought together by cosmic intervention in college — it was an El Niño year, the waves were good, and they both signed up to take a surf class on Friday mornings through USC.  They discovered a mutual love of music festivals, fashion, and all things extra and while the surfing didn't stick, the friendship definitely did. 

Jimmy and Kyle have known each other for two decades, having grown up together in Irvine with a shared passion for boating.  They stayed close in adulthood, finding time to make the drive between Los Angeles and San Francisco, and traveling together to music festivals. Jimmy will be coming from his new home in San Diego for the wedding. 

Sisters in blood and in energy, Kristen and Amanda grew up with a tight bond and a plethora of inside jokes. Amanda is at home both in heels and on a horse, sharing a love for the great outdoors with the bride, and is flying in from Bozeman, MT to join the bridal party. 

Philip is the groom’s oldest biological brother.  He and Kyle share a love of nature, an appreciation for a pint of stout beer and a good-natured college rivalry (Fight On!) . Philip works in educational programming for the Los Angeles Zoo and lives with his lovely wife Brittany.

Janelle and Kristen share big imaginations and a passion for literature, learning, and philosophical debate. The baby Siefert sister by birth, she and Kristen have grown even closer in adulthood and love to nerd out on board games, their beloved pet cats, and the meaning of life. Janelle will be traveling from Bremerton, WA for the big day.

Aaron is Kyle’s Irish twin brother, having been born less than 12 months ahead of the groom. Growing up adopted in two different households, they have become close friends in adulthood. They both share a love for fantasy and nature, planning annual camping trips and currently gearing up for their fourth campaign of Dungeons and Dragons, this time with Aaron as the Game Master.

Rowan and Kristen met in English class at Bainbridge High School, soon becoming extremely chatty and somewhat distracting for the other students. With a flair for the dramatic and shared love of art, fantasy, and frivolity, they have remained friends for over a decade. Rowan will be flying in from Edinburgh, UK for the event.

Robby and Kyle have known each other for two decades, having grown up together in Irvine.  Kyle was the best man and Kristen was the officiant at Robby’s wedding in 2021. Robby and his beautiful wife, Viviana, are traveling from their home in Las Vegas for the wedding. 

Michele met the couple at a beach music festival in the summer of 2018, and by the following week they were attending her birthday party. Kristen and Michele both love to craft (Michele taught Kristen how to crochet!), are passionate about travel and love RuPaul's Drag Race.

Ray and the groom met during high school through their shared passions of filmmaking.  They would spend their senior year weekends filming YouTube sketches and went on to produce corporate content and even shoot weddings together.  They also share a love for live music, which they still make time for in between Ray’s busy schedule working in medical device sales.
